Linda Williams


Linda is a knowledgeable, challenging, and involved yoga instructor. Her Active and Power classes have become workshops for the development of strength, focus, and discipline in my yoga practice. In addition to developing my physical and mental ability in class, between and after class Linda is always open to and available for questions and concerns. Many of her recommendations have helped me work on specific aspects of my practice and have become an important part of my home yoga practice.

Linda's Friday pm class has been such a wonderful way to close my work week and begin my weekend. Her sense of humor is vital to the class, helping to relax me and let me enjoy my yoga practice, and diminishing tendencies (mine anyway) to fall into competitive and pressured yoga practices. She is outstanding at breaking down poses into manageable pieces, so that I am better able to not only do things I didn't think I could do, but to do things I could do before better.

Linda clearly delights in working with her students and is not afraid to show it. She seems to gain enormous energy from the presence of students. Her enjoyment of the postures and of the class hour is so contagious that we can't help feeling that we must be a truly wonderful group of yoga students.

I don't consider Linda a Yoga instructor but an AWESOME yoga guide. She pushes the class to the limit and challenges us like we never imagined possible. BUT the amazing thing is, she pushes us to the edge of where we truly want to be. When she thanks us for coming to class, it is clear not only by her words, tone of voice but more importantly her open non-verbal language. Personally, Linda also projects such a positive, confident, warm, endearing and don't forget motivating spirit. She is just such a cool person. I am drawn to her presence.
